Michael Kolowich, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Michael is a pioneer in connecting people and technology. A former Lotus, Ziff-Davis and AT&T executive who was a prominent architect in the internet content revolution, he is a nationally recognized business strategist, technology executive, and Emmy-winning creative talent with WGBH-TV. Michael's career includes having been a Partner at Bain and Company, Chief Marketing Officer at Lotus Development, founding publisher of PC/Computing magazine, founder of Ziff-Davis Interactive (now ZDNet), president of AT&T's New Media division, and CEO of the first public internet content company, Individual Incorporated (now part of Thomson-Reuters).  Michael is a graduate of Harvard College (AB, Engineering & Applied Physics) and Harvard Business School (MBA, with distinction).  An avid pilot, Michael has served on the Board of Directors of Piper Aircraft and AmSafe Global Holdings, and is a Trustee of Boston's Museum of Science and of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.

Allen Deary, Chief Operating Officer

A seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive, Allen has a 22-year career in founding, building, investing in, and leading technology startups. Allen brings his experience in building global software development teams to lead and grow the key operating areas of KnowledgeVision: development, sales, and client support. Prior to KnowledgeVision, Allen was Senior Vice President of Hitachi Consulting's Outsourced Product Development unit, delivering services from development resources in China and India to clients in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has founded and/or led numerous technology companies, including Sierra Atlantic, CYA Technologies, ArrAy Incorporated, Human Asset Technology, and Peritus Software Services.

Alex Kieft, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, Product

Alex oversees KnowledgeVision's product roadmap, as well as the design and development of the Knovio platform. He works closely with customers to understand the unique challenges they face, and he collaborates with the engineering team to design and implement solutions that address those challenges. Alex is also responsible for scoping and managing technical integrations between Knovio and our partner applications.

Prior to becoming part of the founding team at KnowledgeVision, Alex worked as a media architect for DigiNovations and as a film and computer instructor at Concord Academy. He is an accomplished JavaScript programmer and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, where he studied French Literature and Film and Media Studies.

Jeffrey Cooper, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff is responsible for the financial management of KnowledgeVision’s operations. In this role he provides oversight for the financial management of the business, directs the corporate treasury function, establishes the protocols and standards for internal reporting, including Human Resources, and assists in building the business model and plan, shareholder communication, and risk management for the company. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in managing and building businesses and has served as the CFO for both publicly traded and privately held companies. A former manager at Deloitte, Jeff has served in senior financial management positions at Northern Light Technologies, Spinnaker Software, mValent, Cymfony, Divine, Palm Technologies, EPOX-Z Corporation and Bennett and Company. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Forensic Consultant and a Fellow at the American College of Forensic Examiners. Jeff has a BS in accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Malcolm McGrory, Vice President, Sales

Malcolm is a seasoned software sales executive, who has served in a wide variety of senior management positions including Vice President Sales, Chief Ooperating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer in the media space. Malcolm joins us from PageSuite, a cross-platform publishing solution, where he led the US Sales team. Prior to PageSuite, he was Senior Vice President of Sales for Atex, a multinational provider of software platforms to the publishing industry. He has a degree in graphic design and printing science for Norwich City College, England.

Marianne Rocco, Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing at Knowledgevision, Marianne helps our clients get the most from interactive, video-based content.  With an entrepreneurial mindset, Marianne is on a mission to help businesses use video-based content to break through all the noise.

Her career has focused on marketing strategy, messaging, and awareness, with a laser focus on optimizing marketing technology and content to create scalable demand.  She specializes in helping start-up and small tech companies get to the next level with marketing.  While at Teleport Communications Group (purchased by AT&T), Marianne transformed both the methodology of go-to-market strategy and market planning tools that became a standard in the CLEC market.  She launched her career with AT&T in marketing & business operations.

Marianne is a patriot and an avid reader, gardener and loves music.  She served in US Air Force as a Satellite Communications Officer, and is a graduate of Duke University in mathematics and political science and holds an MBA in Management from Boston College.  Follow her @MWRocco.

Lauren Snedeker, Director of Client Success

Lauren leads a team that is responsible for the entire client experience – training/onboarding, technical support, creative services, and customer advocacy. Her mission is to get KnowledgeVision  customers and partners equipped with the expertise to create engaging, multi-media content so they become confident in delivering information that is effective and attention-worthy.

With many years as a classroom teacher, corporate trainer, and then the head of a Training & Technology team at AbbVie, Lauren guides business professionals and educators to create better, cogent presentations that incorporate both sound instructional design principles and multimedia production.

Lauren’s favorite part of her role is customer advocacy, where she works with Product Development to bring enhancements to the platform based on our customer experience. When she is not tirelessly working for our customers, you will find her on the ski slopes, the golf course, or kayaking the Atlantic.
